In addition our apartment makes a great base for lovely hikes. Discover the beautiful, colourful meadows full of flowers, rustic alpine huts, rocky mountainsides – according to desires and ability there’s suitable hiking tours for everyone. A small suggestion regarding the rustic alpine huts – after a maybe somewhat strenous march there’s nothing better than a tasty snack platter. The home-made produce such as bacon, sausage meat, cheese and bread tastes simply delicious. Such a snack is the ideal compensation for all your walking efforts.
Bikers are also well catered for in Flachau. Mountain bike trails in all levels of difficulty are just waiting to be conquered. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert you’re sure to find routes to suit. The network of bike trails around Flachau is well developed. Get to know the countryside on your bike – sounds great. Then maybe afterwards a refreshing cool down dip? For all water babies there are two bathing lakes near our apartment (Reitecksee lake just 5 walk away) for cooling down on hot days. Admission is free and you can relax on the sunbathing lawns of both lakes. There are also children’s playgrounds there too. You’ll find great water slides, a wave pool and a spacious sauna area and more in the Thermal Spa Amadé, which is just 3 minutes drive from our apartment offering a variety of activities for all ages.
